28th West Kent Boys' Brigade
Boys' Brigade is a Christian organisation for boys aged between 4 and 18 that runs on Friday evenings during term time.
BB is a great place for young people to have fun each Friday, meet their friends and take part in many activities as well as learning about Jesus.
Our boys are split into 3 age groups, the Anchor Boys, the Juniors and the Company Section.

Age 5-8 years - 6:30-7:30pm
The Anchor Boys meet for an hour to play games, hear Bible stories, create a linked craft, earn badges and have great fun making new friends.
To earn their badges, each boy must attend regularly and participate in the activity program. Badges are awarded at the end of each year for: Body, Mind, Spirit, Community, Creativity and Additional Topics.
Age 8-11 years - 6:30-8pm
The Juniors meet for an hour and a half. The boy’s earn badges, play games and sports, do puzzles and craft and also have great fun. We take part in competitions with other BB Junior Sections and have an annual weekend camp every summer during the holidays.
Points are awarded for Attendance, Uniform and Behaviour, and the winner gets the Boy of the Year award.
The advancement of Christ's kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.
Age 11-18 years - 7:30-10pm
The Company Section meet for two and a half hours. A typical Friday is centred on our Discover ChallengePlus programmes and involves working towards badges, games and sports, a tuck shop, drill, and the opportunity to discuss things effecting young people. We take part in a wide range of competitions with other BB companies and have an 11 a-side football team. We enjoy expeditions and camping.
